Work Injury Return to Work Supplement Program.
California Labor Code Section 139.48 implemented through Senate Bill 863 created a $120 Million fund for a Supplement Program called Return to Work (RTW). The RTW fund provides aid for workers who need retraining to return to the workforce to a meaningful profession or trade. In addition to receiving the $6,000.00 Supplemental Job Displacement Voucher (SJDV), eligible injured workers for the SJDV may be eligible to receive an additional $5,000.00 payment from the fund. The money is meant to be used as supplemental income while the California injured employee completes an eligible retraining program with their SJDV. The legal professionals at Napolin Law are well-trained to assist you through the work injury return to work supplement program process.
