Judge Orders Separate Trials Over Objection from Attorneys for the Children, Prefers Individual Trial To Best Understand the Case

ANAHEIM, CA – Judge Takes Dentists Side, Denies Joint Trial on Dental Fraud. Lawyers representing over 160 children injured at Children’s Dental Group in Anaheim, California appeared in Orange County Superior Court on Friday. Lawyers for the children argued for a consolidated first trial where four children would be presented to one jury. Ultimately, Judge Sanders ordered individual trials to take place in succession, stretching out to late 2020 and beyond, subject to a revisit on the joint trial request after the first individual trial concludes.
