Legal News: Pregnant Mother and Nine Others Bring Lawsuit Against Shooter and Mandalay Bay. The first of the countless California lawsuits is being brought in California Superior Court against shooter Stephen Paddock and Mandalay Bay by Michelle Spencer, a mother expecting her second child. This incident took place at least 6 minutes prior to Steven Paddock opening fire on the Harvest Festival.
