Motorcycle vs Truck Accident Causes Orange County Death – Another roadway accident resulted in the death of a motorcyclist yesterday in Orange County, California. On Saturday afternoon, just after 2:00 p.m., a motorcycle rider in his 50's was killed while riding his motorcycle on the beautiful open roads in Santiago Canyon.

The motorcycle vs vehicle collision resulted in the fatality of the biker who was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The motorcycle victim suffered fatal head injury, and could not be revived no matter what the efforts of first responders, according to the Orange County traffic accident investigators at the Sheriff's Department. Fatality Traffic Accident investigators with the Fire Department said that the car accident was between the motorcycle and a truck which was being driven by a man in his 60's at the intersection of Modjeska Grade and Santiago Canyon Roads.
The car crash is still under investigation. The traffic accident authorities detained the 60 year-old truck driver, who was investigated for DUI. Traffic accident investigators in Orange County traffic could not yet provide answers as to the cause of the crash, but the man was being investigated for DUI driving, or speeding. The driver at fault was not arrested.

Santiago Canyon was closed until 8:p.m. last night for further investigation of the cause of the fatal car accident.
