Female Drunk Driver Crashed Through Crowd And Into Taco Stand In Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (JUNE 27, 2016) – Los Angeles CA DUI Driver Crashes Into Taco Stand – In Boyle Heights on Sunday night, a Nissan sedan crashed directly into a crowd of people waiting in line at a food stand. The female driver killed one pedestrian in the automobile accident, and nine people suffered personal injuries. Police believe that the driver was under the influence, jumped the curb, and hit the pedestrians. The pedestrian vs. automobile accident left up to ten people injured.
Several people were driven to the hospital by ambulance, and others were treated at the scene by paramedics. The Los Angeles Police Department traffic investigators are still investigating the scene of the accident.
The serious car wreck happened before 10 p.m. on Clarence Street in the community east of Los Angeles. Police do not know if the deceased pedestrian was an employee of the taco stand or a customer. A witness to the violent accident rushed to help the victim trapped under the car, but it was impossible to save him. Two pedestrians remain in critical condition at a local hospital.
