SUV plows through front of Pizza place in Los Angeles County Causing Injury to Driver Passenger and Occupants
LOS ANGELES, CA (MAY 31, 2016) – Vehicle crashes into Simi Valley pizza place injuring three – A Ford Expedition drove through the front of a restaurant , crashed through the glass, and stopped at the front counter, causing injury to the driver and the passenger. The Fire Captain in Ventura said the accident happened at dinner time on Tapo Canyon Rd.
Officers with Simi Valley Police are uncertain why the car crashed, and are still investigating. Inspectors with the city's building department arrived at the accident scene to decide if the collision damaged the safety of the structure. It is still not certain what caused the man to crash his SUV into the storefront. A worker at the pizza place suffered injuries, as well as the driver and passenger of the SUV. They were both transported by ambulance to the hospital where they were treated for injuries resulting from the car accident.
